A month of posts in one sitting

I sell activewear online, which means I have to post. I plan a whole month at a time from a library of things I already wrote, and the daily stuff gets handled the day it happens.

Tabled for now. Built, not on the homepage, still true.

The job I gave away

Staring at a blank caption box at 4 PM. Every day. For years. My activewear business runs on posts, and the posts were the part I dreaded, which meant they got skipped, which meant the business went quiet.

What runs now

Two lanes. Anything I can plan, I plan a month ahead in one sitting, dragging posts onto days from a library of everything I've ever written. 2,578 cards of my own captions and photos, sorted by product. On the day itself I only choose. Anything that happens inside a day, a sale, a restock, a thank-you for an order, gets drafted that morning and lands on my list with the photo attached.

One rule holds the whole thing together. It never invents a claim about a product. If I never said it fits true to size, it can't say it either. A caption that sounds like me and lies is worse than no caption.

The free version, one afternoon a month

1

Collect twenty of your own posts that worked

Screenshots are fine. Paste the text into a note called My Best Posts. This is your library. It grows every month.

2

Open your chat app and paste the note with this:

Copy and paste

Build me a four-week posting calendar, three posts a week. Reuse and reshape these posts, rotate topics so no two days in a row are the same kind, and mark which original each one came from. Keep my wording and my tone. Do not add any claim about my product, my prices, or my results that is not already in the originals. Give it to me as a list by date.

3

Read it once, cut anything that doesn't sound like you, and put the dates on your calendar. When you post, add the post to the library.

What it hands back

Where this goes wrong

Re-posting something you already put up because a box wasn't ticked. The tick is the weakest signal you have. Check what actually went out before calling anything unposted, and treat a planned post you skipped as a choice, not a gap to catch up on.

The rule underneath

You have a back catalog. Plan from what you already said, and the daily post stops being a daily decision.

Numbers on this page come from my own system, computed 2026-09-10: 2578 cards in her post library (caption + photo set) ยท 113 posts she actually sent from the daily packet.
